Οι προκλήσεις και οι προτάσεις μέσα από τις ευκαιρίες για την ενίσχυση της ανταγωνιστικότητας του κλάδου HORECA

Το HORECA ή οι χώροι εστίασης (Ξενοδοχεία, εστιατόρια, καφετέριες, μπαράκια, κέντρα διασκέδασης κα) όπως αναφέρονται αλλιώς, έχουν στην πλειοψηφία τους επιβιώσει από την καταιγίδα του COVID-19 και συνεχίζουν να πρωταγωνιστούν στο οικονομικό περιβάλλον της Κύπρου.

Στο πλαίσιο της Παγκύπριας Έρευνας Απογραφής και Εμπορικής Γνώμης, που υλοποιήθηκε το 2019 από την iMinder, καταγράφηκαν πέραν των 6,000 σημείων HORECA. Η νέα έρευνα, ολοκληρώνεται το 2024, με σκοπό να ενισχύσει τη συνεργασία μεταξύ προμηθευτών και ιδιοκτητών σημείων HORECA και να διαγνώσει τις πραγματικές προκλήσεις αλλά και ευκαιρίες του κλάδου.

Ο κλάδος του HORECA θεωρείται ως ένας από τους πιο σημαντικούς κλάδους συνεισφοράς στο ΑΕΠ της Κύπρου και για αυτό και η ενίσχυση της ανταγωνιστικότητας του είναι κρίσιμος παράγοντας για την οικονομική ανάπτυξη της χώρας.

Ενδεικτικές προκλήσεις που εμποδίζουν την ανταγωνιστικότητα του κλάδου είναι:

  • Ελλείψεις προσωπικού
  • Αυξήσεις τιμών προϊόντων
  • Αυξήσεις κόστους λειτουργίας
  • Αυξήσεις μισθών προσωπικού
  • Καθυστερήσεις αφίξεων προϊόντων στην εφοδιαστική αλυσίδα
  • Περιορισμένοι χρηματοοικονομικοί πόροι
  • Αλλαγές στα χαρακτηριστικά των πελατών
  • Αβεβαιότητα από περιφερειακές και άλλες συγκρούσεις χωρών
  • Επιδράσεις της Παγκοσμιοποίησης στις επισκέψεις πελατών και στην αγορά στο σύνολο

Σε αυτό το πλαίσιο, η iMinder Academy διοργανώνει με την επιστημονική υποστήριξη των συμβούλων της iMinder, για 1η φορά, το Συνέδριο και Έκθεση “HORECA-In-Action”, το οποίο θα πραγματοποιηθεί την Τρίτη 4 Ιουνίου 2024 από 08:30 μέχρι 15:40, στο κτήμα Κουσιουμή.

 Όλοι τα μέρη του ιδιωτικού και δημόσιου τομέα, προμηθευτές, ιδιοκτήτες HORECA και φορείς του κράτους συναντιούνται, συζητούν, παρουσιάζουν, προτείνουν και συνεργάζονται για την ενίσχυση της ανταγωνιστικότητας του κλάδου.

Το Συνέδριο και Έκθεση αποτελείται από μία σειρά παρουσιάσεων διακεκριμένων ομιλητών, της Κύπρου και του εξωτερικού, από έρευνες και διαγνώσεις βάσει τεκμηρίωσης και εκθεσιακό χώρο από υπηρεσίες και προϊόντα για τον κλάδο.
